It is ultimately the safe storage of CO2 that makes carbon capture as a decarbonization pathway possible. At this time, only a handful of sequestration sites have been permitted for long-term CO2 storage.

This panel will discuss the necessary steps to develop, permit and operate a sequestration site with a focus on timelines, regional considerations, challenges and potential environmental impacts.
