Late in 2021, NV Energy announced its 150 MW Dry Lake Solar photovoltaic power project, which included a battery storage system designed to deliver 100 MW to the grid for a 4-hour period. But with most of the design complete, construction was hampered by supply chain shortages, international tariff and political constraints, staffing shortages and other complications.

This session examines how renewable projects challenge the myth of a “one-stop shop” capable of meeting all project execution obstacles. It will also address the importance of maintaining a flexible mindset and partnering with the right firms.
