Transporting transformers from production to their final destination presents significant challenges for manufacturers, particularly in terms of position tracking and impact monitoring. Ensuring safe transport and compliance requires knowing the transformer's location, route adherence, and expected delivery time. Damage during transit can result in costly repairs or replacements, especially when there’s no data on where or how the incident occurred. One effective solution is to equip transformers with data loggers or shock impactors that provide real-time GPS tracking and impact detection.
This presentation will highlight how manufacturers can maximize efficiency and return on investment, including simple, plug-and-play tracking solutions with automatic data collection and two-way communication for on-the-fly adjustments. This approach offers full transparency and greater confidence in transport integrity.
