Hydrogen at Scale: Overcoming Technical Hurdles in the ACES I Project
A first of a kind, utility scale electrolytic hydrogen production and storage facility is nearing completion in Delta, Utah. The Advanced Clean Energy Storage Phase I (ACES I) is a project capable of converting renewable energy into 100 tonnes per day of hydrogen and storing up to 11,000 tonnes of hydrogen in salt storage caverns. This presentation will review the technical challenges encountered and mitigated during the execution of the project.
