Achieving 100% Success in Digital Twin Deployment? Lessons from the Field

Digital twin technology is reshaping how the power sector approaches operations and asset management, but achieving consistent success in deployment remains a challenge. Too often, projects falter when solutions don’t align with customer infrastructure, workflows and scalability needs.

Drawing on real-world implementations at power generation facilities, critical infrastructure and Ford’s Blue Oval City in Tennessee, this session will examine what it takes to move from concept to lasting value. Speakers will highlight common barriers such as data integration, workforce adoption and regulatory hurdles, and share how a phased “crawl–walk–run” approach can improve outcomes. Attendees will gain field-tested lessons on selecting adaptable digital twin platforms, sustaining growth beyond initial deployment and ensuring these systems evolve in step with operational needs.
