Onsite Power and Flexible Generation

With the rapid growth of solar and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, utilities face mounting challenges in managing and interconnecting distributed energy resources (DERs). Increasingly, utilities are turning to direct current (DC) as a more efficient and flexible solution for deployment at scale.

This session will highlight how innovative DC power management systems, such as Current/OS, enable devices to autonomously adjust operation based on voltage levels, reducing reliance on centralized controls. Attendees will learn how DC distribution lowers capital costs, improves efficiency and can be deployed safely under existing codes and standards.
