Operating Project Manager, USACE - Albeni Falls Dam

Amanda Smith has dedicated 28 years to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and currently serves as the Operating Project Manager for Albeni Falls Dam within the Seattle District's Operations Division. In this role, she leads a team of skilled professionals responsible for the operation and maintenance of the operating project. Amanda began her career in 1996 as a student aide at the North Alabama Area Office, Redstone Arsenal, under the Mobile District's Construction Division. Over nearly three decades, she has contributed her expertise across four different divisions and five district offices. Her diverse experience includes serving as the lead mechanical engineer on a wide range of MILCON, MEDCOM, and Civil Works construction projects with the Mobile District. She also supported the Iraq Mission under the Transatlantic District, helping restore the region's electrical grid. At the Jacksonville District, Amanda worked as both a project and program manager for the Comprehensive Everglad
