Global Product Manager - Clean Energy Solutions, PSM, a Hanwha Company

Amir Shoraka is the Global Product Manager for Clean Energy Solutions at Power Systems Mfg., LLC (PSM), a leading aftermarket gas turbine technology and services provider based in Jupiter, Florida. PSM, a U.S.-based subsidiary of South Korea’s Hanwha Group, focuses on innovative upgrades and combustion system retrofits that improve performance, fuel flexibility, and support decarbonization goals.

With over a decade of experience in the power generation industry, Amir began his career in combustion tuning and controls before moving into fleet monitoring, diagnostics, and data analytics roles. In his current role, he helps bridge R&D efforts in hydrogen and ammonia combustion with broader collaboration across the hydrogen value chain.

Amir works to connect technical development with real-world applications, supporting the role of gas turbines as a reliable, dispatchable source of low-carbon energy during the transition to more sustainable power systems.

He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and a Master’s in Business Analytics from Bentley University.

There's been a lot of good [takeaways] for us because our plans are quite old, so there's a lot of manual readings and things, but me being the IT generation, I think it could be done better.
