Dr. Sallam is a Vice President and Managing Director of CQA services. With 24 years of experience both in the states and overseas, Dr. Sallam has served as a Project Engineer, Senior Engineer, Project Manager, and Principal in Charge on numerous geotechnical and structural projects throughout Florida, the Southeast US, and internationally. His expertise includes geotechnical consulting for shallow and deep foundations for high-rise heavily loaded structures, bridges, deep and staged excavations, soil improvement, retaining and MSE walls, global stability, stormwater, and groundwater modeling, developing on karst geology and developing on difficult soils. Dr. Sallam’s expertise also includes numerical modeling using 2D and 3D finite and discrete element modeling.

Dr. Sallam plays an integral role in providing value engineering and alternative, innovative, and economical foundation concepts for Design-Build projects. Dr. Sallam is also the lead designer and director of Wind Turbine Foundation Design services nationwide. He has published papers at the AWEA yearly conference and presented state-of-the-art wind turbine foundation designs. He also provides expert witness services for wind turbine foundation designs for multiple law firms.

Additionally, Dr. Sallam has worked as an Adjunct Professor teaching Foundation Engineering, Advanced Geotechnical Engineering, and Geotechnical Design courses at the University of Central Florida since 2006. Dr. Sallam also teaches Geotechnical Engineering for the School of P.E. in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, New York, and Washington DC since 2009.
