Andres Acevedo-Cross is a seasoned engineering executive with over 21 years of experience in renewable energy and infrastructure development. He has been at the forefront of the solar industry since its early utility-scale emergence, having worked on the first grid-connected solar projects in the United States. As Executive Vice President at Revamp Engineering, Inc., he leads company-wide engineering execution, overseeing the delivery of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects across the U.S. To date, he has played a direct role in deploying more than 8.5 GW of renewable energy capacity. Over his eight-year tenure at Revamp, Andres has also served as Vice President and Principal Engineer, helping grow the firm’s technical bench strength and project portfolio.

His expertise spans project engineering management, energy systems design, transmission and interconnection planning, and contract administration, making him a key technical advisor to utilities, developers, and EPCs alike.

Prior to joining Revamp, Andres held pivotal roles at First Solar, SunPower Corporation, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, and CH2M Hill. His early work in transmission planning and utility integration helped lay the foundation for renewable grid penetration in both U.S. and Latin American markets.

He holds both Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Fluent in English and Spanish, Andres brings a global perspective to his leadership, with a career grounded in sustainability, innovation, and large-scale execution. Based in Kaneohe, Hawaii, he continues to drive the advancement of clean energy technologies and resilient infrastructure.
