Bobby Noble is the Senior Program Manager for the Gas Turbine R&D at EPRI. Within the research area, he and his team oversee topics involving all aspects of the gas turbine system. His primary expertise is in combustion and analytics related research. Bobby is the 2024 ASME Westinghouse Silver Medal awardee and an ASME Fellow with more than 22 years of experience in the gas turbine and power industry. He is a member-at-large for the ASME TEC Sector council. He serves as a trustee for the Georgia Tech Research Corporation (GTRC) and as a member (former chair) of the Industrial and Professional Advisory Committee (IPAC) for Penn State's Department of Mechanical Engineering. He is on the editorial board for the Combined Cycle Journal. He holds seven patents, co-edited the book Renewable Fuels: Sources, Conversion, and Utilization, and has authored/co-authored 27+ journal publications along with 76+ conference publications.
