Brodie Griffin

Director of Power Generation , Platte River Power Authority

Brodie Griffin started at Platte River Power Authority as a mechanical engineering intern in 2005 and has enjoyed working at Rawhide Energy Station in northern Colorado, a facility with coal, natural gas, wind, and solar resources providing wholesale electricity to Platte River's four owner communities. Currently, Brodie serves as the Director of Power Generation, and is excited to be supporting Platte River's engaged in the energy transition, with a target of achieving 85%+ non-carbon deliveries by 2030.

There's been a lot of good [takeaways] for us because our plans are quite old, so there's a lot of manual readings and things, but me being the IT generation, I think it could be done better.
