David Wu is a Senior Technical Leader in the Generation Sector at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), specializing in gas turbine technologies. He earned his Mechanical Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology, where he worked for over a decade as a research engineer at the Ben T. Zinn Combustion Laboratory, developing high-pressure combustion systems for low-NOx applications. David’s expertise spans experimental combustion system development—from lab-scale burners to full-scale gas turbine hardware—advanced optical diagnostics for reacting flows, monitoring technologies, and investigations of numerous fuels for gas turbine applications. His work is driven by a commitment to cleaner, more efficient combustion solutions for power generation.
