Deepak Khajouria has over 30 years of energy industry management and business experience having managed businesses/teams in the US, Europe, Latin America, and Asia. He has bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and MBA from India.

Currently leading the global Business development/Partnership team for Expert Microsystems Inc.  He has been with EMS since 2016 and has lead business growth in Asia, Europe, and other regions. 

Previously, Deepak was Country Manager/Vice President for AC Boilers (Ansaldo) where he led their entry into the boiler and heat recovery steam generator market in USA/Mexico. Prior to AC Boilers, Deepak was Managing Director and VP of Doosan Power Systems, North America where he managed the regional profit and loss and led the strategy, business development and local project execution.

He has developed and implemented market penetration and growth strategies, product launches for new disruptive technologies and customer/vendor alliances to create value and differentiation in Europe, China, India, Southeast Asia, and the USA.  He is also experienced in identifying and evaluating technologies; arranging technology transfer and licensing agreement; and identifying and evaluating M&A targets.  Deepak is well known and respected in the global energy industry with both customers and vendors through his work in USA, Europe, and Asia. 

He has led actively a global initiative in introducing data analytics application to traditional energy and related industry. He brings industry knowledge, which overlaps with application of the data analytics platforms (Digital Twins/Predictive maintenance) using AI/ML, this has been a great enabler for the industry to cross the chasm and understanding value in similar solutions.
