Efrem Teklemariam

Manager, Research Partnership & Innovation , Manitoba Hydro

A graduate of the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Engineering, and Delft Technical University, the Netherlands both with M. Sc Degree in Water Resources, employed at Manitoba Hydro, Department Manager of Water Resources Engineering and Efrem has worked in the consulting & utilities engineering field since 1985, in Manitoba Canada, Europe, Latin America, Middle East and Africa. In addition Efrem has volunteered his time and experience to several non-profit organizations including Board member of Academic Review Committee of Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists, Board of Director of Citizenship Council of Manitoba, and one of the a founding member of International Educated Engineering's Qualification program (IEEQ), member of review panel on Climate Change of The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) projects. Over the years Efrem is a major contributor and lead to the strong and supportive relationship to the R &D of the Water Resource
