Mr. Castano has over 15 years’ of experience working in the energy industry with a long record of successful special projects origination and execution in the oil and gas industry, clean emerging technologies acceleration, innovation, and sustainability efforts. He works to identify clean energy solutions, develop and implement business models, strategic initiatives and partnerships, and customer collaboration in support of Dominion Energy’s decarbonization goals. As a leader in the energy transition, his expertise includes project management, and clean energy solutions, such as hydrogen, green mobility, and industrial decarbonization.

Since 2021 Mr. Castano has supported Dominion Energy’s corporate innovation efforts including leading internal sprint teams to assess emerging technologies such as carbon capture, sequestration, and utilization, transportation decarbonization, distributed energy storage and virtual power plants, and energy efficiency, as well as developing strategic partnerships and new business opportunities.
