Greyson Buckingham is the Co-Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of DISA Technologies, a venture-backed technology company redefining the future of mineral recovery and mine remediation. A military veteran, licensed attorney and experienced entrepreneur, Mr. Buckingham brings a unique blend of visionary leadership, policy expertise, and operational acumen to the helm of one of Wyoming’s most dynamic technology companies.

Since founding DISA in 2018, Mr. Buckingham has led the company from concept to commercial scale—growing the team to more than 50 employees, expanding field deployments globally and securing over $50 million in capital from institutional investors. Under his leadership, DISA has emerged as a national leader in deploying its patented High-Pressure Slurry Ablation (HPSA) platform to unlock critical minerals from both legacy waste and conventional ores, positioning the company at the forefront of U.S. energy security and environmental innovation.

Mr. Buckingham’s career spans public policy, energy and national service. Prior to founding DISA, he served as Director of Policy at Mesa Natural Gas Solutions, a T. Boone Pickens-backed firm focused on distributed generation in the oil and gas sector. He previously held roles on Capitol Hill, worked as a judicial extern for a U.S. District Court judge, and managed statewide field operations for a U.S. Senate campaign.

A retired Field Artillery officer in the Wyoming Army National Guard, Mr. Buckingham deployed in support of both Operation Spartan Shield and Operation Inherent Resolve. He is a recipient of the prestigious Theodore Roosevelt Leadership Award—presented to the top officers across the U.S. Armed Forces—and was recognized as a Distinguished Military Graduate of the ROTC Cowboy Battalion.

Mr. Buckingham holds a B.A. and M.A. from Georgetown University and earned both a J.D. and MBA in Energy Management from the University of Wyoming, graduating with honors. He is deeply committed to advancing solutions that benefit our nation’s energy future and serves on the boards of the University of Wyoming College of Arts and Sciences, Advance Casper and the Rotary Club of Casper. He is also an active alumni interviewer for Georgetown University.

Greyson lives in Casper, Wyoming with his wife and three sons. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, skiing and fly fishing in the Wyoming backcountry.
