Mr. Donald “Gus” Gustavson is the Business Operations Manager for USNC’s fuels division, where he manages project operations and financing for the manufacture of USNC’s TRISO-based Fully Ceramic Microencapsulated (FCM®) fuel. Prior to joining USNC, he spent 10 years in the energy industry, first as a chemical engineer and subsequently in various operations and project management roles for projects in Upstream Oil and Gas. After obtaining his MBA in 2019, Mr. Gustavson also worked as a business consultant for large industrial companies in the energy sector. Finally, he spent 5 years in the US Army as a Combat Engineer officer. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the United States Military Academy and an MBA from Rice University.
