James Brown

Vice President, Power Operations, Fluor Corporation

James Brown is Vice President of Power Operations supporting Fluor's Energy Solutions business lines. He has responsibility to provide strategic, operational, and technical guidance building the capabilities and success of Fluor projects that include power generation or associated technologies and facilities. He is also engaged with supporting the commercialization of Fluor technologies and Fluor partner technologies. Prior to this assignment, he led the Fluor Operations & Maintenance business line for the North America region. In this role, he was accountable for profitability, strategy, client relationship management, and operations in the US and Canada delivering integrated solutions to the oil & gas, industrial, and power markets in the areas of plant and facility operations, maintenance, modification projects, and asset management.

There's been a lot of good [takeaways] for us because our plans are quite old, so there's a lot of manual readings and things, but me being the IT generation, I think it could be done better.
