Dr. Jeffrey Goldmeer is an Emergent Technologies Director at GE Gas Power and is responsible for developing and executing strategies for the decarbonization of gas turbine-based power plants. His primary focus is on the use of low and zero carbon fuels supporting the company’s vision of accelerating decarbonization with gas turbine technology. He is also co-creator and co-host of GE’s decarbonization podcast, Cutting Carbon. Dr. Goldmeer brings more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry. Prior to his current role, he was the Director of Gas Turbine Fuel & Combustion Solutions for GE Gas Power, and before that he was the Manager of the Combustion Lab at GE’s Global Research Center. Dr. Goldmeer received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He holds 13 patents on a variety of combustion and propulsion related technologies.
