Jhansi Kandasamy is the Vice President of The Nuclear Company's Regulatory and External Affairs.
Prior to Joining TNC in October 2024, she served as the executive director of DOE's Idaho National Laboratory Net-Zero program. She was responsible for leading INL to become a global model for achieving net-zero emissions by 2031 through the development and implementation of carbon-free and carbon-capture technologies.
She brings 35 years of industry experience and leadership as the former Executive Vice President of Engineering for GE-Hitachi, supporting operating GE reactors and designing new small modular reactors.
She has worked at five nuclear generating stations: Limerick, Oyster Creek, Palo Verde, Salem and Hope Creek. Companies worked: Bechtel, PECO, Exelon, PSEG, GEH, Battelle Energy Alliance.
