Guardian Industries - Electrical Engineer responsible for replacement of onsite backup generation, upgrading from 2ea 750kW diesel gensets to 2ea 2,000kW diesel gensets. Upgrade required replacement of 15 transfer switches, increase in size of generator room, and replacment of diesel generators while maintaining a 24/365 float glass production line.
2003 to present DTE Electric - Lead engineer to support the Launch and use of mobile generation as a summer peaking tool to serve circuits that were predicted to overload. This inital program lauched with the use of two mobile diesel generators and skid mounted tranformer pads. My role rapidy changed to design and develop additional assets and practices to resolve planned and unplanned outages. Our fleet and strategy has evolved into dozens of assets which are readily used on a daily basis to provide better reliability for our electric customers.
