Johnny Howze, III

Senior Vice President, Supply Chain and Chief Procurement Officer , NiSource

Johnny Howze III serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer for NiSource. He joins NiSource from Southern Company where he previously served as SVP of Supply Chain. Prior to working in Supply Chain, he attained significant leadership experience while serving as Plant Manager of several Georgia Power energy stations including Scherer (3800 MW), Wansley (1,800 MW), and Branch (1,500 MW).

Johnny has over 30 years of experience in utility operations. He is a strategic energy industry executive, operating partner, and industry thought leader with significant operations, risk management, supply chain, innovation, and leadership experience. Howze has a successful track record delivering creative and transformative solutions that vastly improve performance in challenging environments while increasing profitability. He is known for providing the coaching and development needed to motivate teams to consistently strive for excellence.
