Jomaa is a practicing renewable energy specialist with 35 years of civil engineering experience, 20 years of which in design and construction of utility-scale wind and solar, storage and transmission infrastructure serving in various roles: Owner Engineering Director, in-house Engineering Manager for a leading EPC company, and Director of Engineering in consulting firms. Jomaa is playing a leading role in standard development and pioneering role in the development of reliable and optimized foundation systems for renewable energy support structures. Jomaa obtained his PhD from Colorado School of Mines in 2018 with research focused on reliability-based design of shallow wind turbine foundations.
