Karen Meyer Bertram is the President/CEO of Integrated Energy. She has over 25-years of experience in the development and commercialization of Waste-to-Energy Conversion Technologies. She has had been responsible for obtaining over 10 U.S. Patents and over 44 Foreign Patents for Continuous-Feed Pyrolysis as well as developing additional commercial designs that have received 5 U.S. Patents. Her pyrolysis technology was selected for the first commercial Waste-to-Energy plant at a U.S. Army installation. Currently, she is actively integrating AI and enhancing Cybersecurity for Waste-to-Energy projects for the DOD, in an effort to optimize the O&M, and provide real-time Measurement and Verification of the energy production by utilizing a “Control Room of the Future”.
