Karen Meyer Bertram is President and CEO of Integrated Energy, bringing over 25 years of experience in the development and commercialization of waste-to-energy conversion technologies. She holds more than 10 U.S. patents and 44 foreign patents for continuous-feed pyrolysis, along with five additional U.S. patents for related commercial designs. Her pyrolysis technology was selected for the first commercial waste-to-energy plant at a U.S. Army installation. Karen is also co-founder of GridEdge AI Corporation, which is developing edge-deployed AI hardware that performs power quality classification directly at the monitored asset — paired with the Omnexx operational intelligence platform that aggregates, correlates, and acts on those edge insights across the enterprise. The combined system serves utilities, data centers, microgrids, and industrial operations.
