Vice President and Project Director, Sargent & Lundy
Mr. Huberty is a vice president and project director with 20 years of experience in new generation nuclear power plant design, nuclear power plant modifications, and Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear facility design. He is currently the project director for Sargent and Lundy’s support of the NuScale small module reactor (SMR) standard plant design, the UAMPS Carbon Free Power Project, the SHINE medical isotope production facility design, Westinghouse AP1000 design work, and Southern Nuclear Company’s Vogtle Units 3 & 4. Mr. Huberty is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and Structural Engineer (SE), holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and has co-authored technical papers on the seismic design of structures. Mr. Huberty has a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Illinois and an MBA degree from the University of Chicago.
