Following my time there, I took a position working for STP Nuclear Operating Company where I worked on and managed personnel in various positions for (2) Westinghouse 1300MW, 4-Loop, Pressurized Water Reactor designed power plants. My positions while at STP included serving as a System Engineer, a Senior Project Manager, Rapid Response Team Supervisor in the Maintenance Engineering Team, System Engineering Manager, and Maintenance Manager for the Integrated Maintenance Team and newly formed “Fix it Now” Team. In 2021, I accepted a position as the Site Engineering Manager for WA Parish Electric Generating Station for NRG Energy, Inc. which is an 8 Unit Generating Station producing over 3700+ MW and includes a 13 MW Combustion Gas Turbine Black Start Unit as well. At this site, my team and I manage the Engineering functions for the site including maintenance support functions, program ownership and management, new project development and implementation, abnormal system monitoring, and NERC compliance to name a few. Throughout my time in the power industry, I have spent all of my time on the Generation side of the business assisting in leading teams in solving problems and issues, implementing upgrades throughout the plant, and managing day to day Maintenance, Engineering, and Project functions. I pride myself on delivering quality solutions and products in a timely manner to the Operations Teams in the organizations that I have served in my career and I look forward to continuing to serve this growing industry.
