Mandy Hopmann is a senior solutions lead for NextEra Analytics, Inc. (NEA), a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, the world’s largest generator of renewable energy from the wind and sun, a world leader in battery storage and a driving force in the development of the green hydrogen economy. NEA develops forecasting and optimization solutions that enable low-cost sustainable power systems. Ms. Hopmann focuses on developing solutions to optimize the operation of wind, solar, and battery assets by identifying underperformance and providing insight to guide corrective action. She was appointed to this role in May 2019. 

Prior to joining NextEra Energy, Ms. Hopmann was a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Resideo, formerly part of Honeywell, where she oversaw a series of smart thermostat apps for homeowners, light commercial building managers, and HVAC contractors, including Total Connect Comfort, a 4+ star rated app with over 1MM monthly active users.  Previously, she worked for GeoDigital International, Inc., as a product manager, developing solutions for line design and vegetation management for transmission and distribution utilities.

Ms. Hopmann holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management.
