Márcio Flávio Amaral de Souza
Márcio Flávio Amaral de Souza is the Operational Planning and Support Manager for Petrobras’ Thermoelectric Park in Brazil. He works with operational support, asset management, performance management, contract governance, and digital transformation initiatives to improve decision-making in complex power generation operations.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector and has contributed to initiatives related to operational excellence, process standardization, ISO 55001-based asset management practices, and data-driven management. He holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Management, MBAs in Corporate Finance and Strategic Business Management in Energy, and has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
