Matt Iadipaolo

Matt Iadipaolo is an energy industry leader with more than 20 years of experience spanning electric power, thermal generation, and distributed energy systems. Matt has supported clients across utilities, municipalities, healthcare, higher education, and a wide range of industrial sectors.

At DTE Vantage, Matt serves as a Project Developer, where he leads new business pursuits, evaluates technical and economic feasibility, and oversees the full development lifecycle of customer‑sited energy projects—from conceptual design and team coordination to commercial structuring and project delivery.

Before joining DTE Vantage, Matt held senior business development and project management roles at HDR, Cummins & Barnard, Black & Veatch and Commonwealth Associates, delivering complex energy and infrastructure solutions nationwide. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
