Michael Brasel is the Senior Director, Supply Chain Development & Manufacturing at NuScale Power. Previous roles over the last ten years with NuScale include Director positions in Product Cost Management, Projects, and Licensing. Brasel worked for Dairyland Power Cooperative for ten years where he was the Plant Manager of the La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor, and a Project Manager maintaining Dairyland Power's power generation plants. Brasel started his career in the Navy Nuclear Power Program on two nuclear power guided missile cruisers. He earned his engineering degree from Old Dominion University and a Masters of Business Administration at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Lake Region Electric Cooperative and Great River Energy in Minnesota.
