Dr. Nick Hutson has been with the EPA for 22 years. He currently leads the Energy Strategies Group in EPA’s Office of Air and Radiation (OAR). The Energy Strategies Group is responsible for policy and regulatory development to limit emissions of air pollutants – including criteria air pollutants, air toxics, and greenhouse gases – from power plants, stationary combustion turbines, stationary engines, and industrial boilers. Prior to joining the Office of Air and Radiation, Nick worked as a staff researcher in EPA’s Office of Research and Development (ORD). Nick received a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
