Patrick Temple

Principal Electrical Engineer , Avista Corp

Patrick Temple is a Principal Electrical Engineer in the Generation Engineering Department at Avista Utilities serving the Inland Northwest. Over the past six years at Avista, he has worked on a broad mix of utility engineering projects, including the last four years leading electrical infrastructure modernization efforts at the company’s hydroelectric generating stations. His recent work centers on upgrading station service systems, DC systems, and power distribution equipment to improve reliability and extend asset life.

Prior to joining Avista, Patrick spent 17 years at LCF Enterprises in production and design of broadband RF power amplifiers for military applications. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Idaho and holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech.
