Priyanka Gugale

Priyanka Gugale

Priyanka Gugale received her M.Sc. degree in Electrical Power Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, Germany, in 2013. She began her career as a Power System Consultant at Siemens PTI in Erlangen, where she focused on strategic planning and the dynamic performance of transmission and distribution networks.

From 2019 to 2021, she worked at Hitachi Energy in Zurich as an Application Engineer for the Generator circuit-breaker team. In this role, she provided technical support for customer inquiries and conducted electromagnetic transient studies to support generator circuit-breaker selection.

Since January 2022, Priyanka is working as the Global Product Manager for the Generator circuit-breaker product line. She is responsible for developing and managing the global portfolio, driving innovation, and aligning product strategy with evolving market needs.

There's been a lot of good [takeaways] for us because our plans are quite old, so there's a lot of manual readings and things, but me being the IT generation, I think it could be done better. So having a lot of these [takeaways] from companies who have [accomplished what] we are wanting to do is great. It's been really eye opening networking with all of the exhibitors [as well].
