Manager, Weatherization and Inspection , ERCOT

Raihan Khondker is an award-winning engineering and operations leader with two decades of experience in the energy industry. As Manager of Generation & Transmission Weatherization Inspection at ERCOT, he leads regionwide initiatives that strengthen grid reliability and ensure compliance with Texas’ weatherization rules.

His leadership following Winter Storm Uri drove major reliability reforms and measurable performance improvements across ERCOT’s fleet. A recognized expert in nuclear industry, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation, Raihan integrates advanced technologies to optimize asset performance.

He holds degrees from the University of Ottawa (B.A.Sc.), West Texas A&M University (MBA), and Brown University (M.Sc.).
