I have been employed at MSHS Pacific Power Group in the power generation business for 30 years in various roles: leading our power generation product sales group, managing our marine and power generation application engineering team, and most recently developing and overseeing special large projects for the company. I was in a leadership role (president/vice president) of the MTU distributor council for over 10 years, starting from when MTU purchased Katolight and the transition of MTU/Detroit Diesel power gen into the MTU power generation program. Key/major projects that I developed was a national with Turner Construction, resulting in over 80 projects completed, Alaskan remote gold mine 4180V prime power plant with a custom automated UREA mixiing module to support SCR application, San Jose data center retrofitting 24 HITEC DRUPS units converting them into emergency standby gensets utilizing 11' long carbon fiber shafts and custom controls including installation of 25 DPFs. And most recently, developing and overseeing the DPF retrofit at the PGE DSG sites

There's been a lot of good [takeaways] for us because our plans are quite old, so there's a lot of manual readings and things, but me being the IT generation, I think it could be done better. So having a lot of these [takeaways] from companies who have [accomplished what] we are wanting to do is great. It's been really eye opening networking with all of the exhibitors [as well]. It's my first time here, but I don’t think it's going to be my last."
