Rob Teegarden has 34 years of utilities engineering, construction and project management experience at several municipal and public utility water systems. In 2019, he retired from the Orlando Utilities Commission as the Water Policy and Research Officer for the Commission. Other organizations where he held administrative, planning and operations roles include the City of Tampa Water Department, Orange County Utilities and Gainesville Regional Utilities. Rob is a Licensed Professional Engineer and holds a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida. Today, his research focuses on bringing expertise at the intersection of water, energy, and food with other aspects of water quality and environmental management. He is an active member and past chairman of the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association (FSAWWA), the Water Environment Federation (WEF), and the Florida Engineering Society (FES), and he has served as past Board member on the Water Research Foundation (WRF).
