Russell Chetwynd has spent his whole career in the Power Generation Industry. Initially as a Turbine Generator Commissioning Engineer for GEC/Alstom, working out of the UK, Russell helped start up nuclear and fossil powered power plants around the world. Later he transferred to Southern California Edison as the inaugural Turbine Generator System Engineer at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS). Since the closure of SONGS, Russell has worked as a Service Manager for National Electric Coil (NEC), responsible for customer accounts in both North America and internationally.
