Scott Hunnewell oversees the New Nuclear Program for the Tennessee Valley Authority. Areas of responsibility include licensing activities for Construction Permit Application and Environmental Report for the Clinch River Site; future site selection and technological evaluations of emerging technologies, in Generation IV Nuclear Plants. Since joining TVA in 2009, he has held positions in site engineering including Systems and Design Engineering as well as Engineering Director at Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant. Hunnewell has Operations and Work Management experience, was the Plant Manager at the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant and Vice President of Nuclear Engineering prior to his current role. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine. He is based in the Chattanooga, Tennessee office.
