Shaun Sharret

Shaun Sharrett (B.S. Chemistry, Northern Illinois University) has been with Swan Analytical USA since 2011 and currently serves as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Throughout his tenure, he has held several leadership roles, including Technical Manager, where he developed and expanded Swan's in-house and on-site service, support, and training programs for power plants, water treatment facilities, semiconductor manufacturing plants, and other industrial customers.
Prior to joining Swan, Shaun worked as a Lab Chemist with Abbott Laboratories, supporting both the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) and Quality Control (QC) groups. His responsibilities included analytical testing, quality assurance, and supporting manufacturing operations in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
During his 16 years with Swan, Shaun has worked extensively with power generation and drinking water facilities throughout North America, providing analytical instrumentation, application support, troubleshooting assistance, training, and water chemistry expertise. He has helped customers optimize monitoring programs, improve process control, and maintain regulatory compliance through the implementation of online water quality instrumentation.
Shaun has presented technical papers at industry conferences on power plant and drinking water chemistry and is a frequent resource for utilities and industrial facilities seeking guidance on water quality monitoring applications
