Dr. Sumesh Arora serves as a Workforce Strategies Program Manager at Entergy where he is passionately developing the next generation talent in the utility industry. Dr. Arora has over 34 years' experience in energy and chemical process industries spanning the public, private, non-profit, and academic sectors. Over the years, Sumesh has worked on renewable energy technology and business development, innovation and entrepreneurship, energy education and workforce development, energy efficiency, electric vehicle strategy, and energy security. Sumesh has testified before the United States Senate and was appointed to the U.S. Department of Energy's State Energy Advisory Board by the former US Energy Secretary. He has a BS & MS in engineering and a PhD in International Development.

There's been a lot of good [takeaways] for us because our plans are quite old, so there's a lot of manual readings and things, but me being the IT generation, I think it could be done better. So having a lot of these [takeaways] from companies who have [accomplished what] we are wanting to do is great. It's been really eye opening networking with all of the exhibitors [as well].
