Dr. Sumesh Arora, Program Manager for Diversity and Workforce Strategies at Entergy Corporation. At Entergy, his team is focused on nurturing the next generation talent and work with a diverse pool of high school and college students. Dr. Arora is the former Director of Mississippi's State Energy Office and Vice President of Innovate Mississippi where he was immersed in economic development, entrepreneurship, energy efficiency, energy education, and technology commercialization. Sumesh has a Ph.D. in International Development from the University of Southern Mississippi and a masters and bachelor's in engineering from the University of Central Florida. He has been an adjunct professor in USM's College of Business and Economic Development for 11 years. Sumesh has two patents for renewable biogas production and his publications include book chapters on energy and terrorism, and biomass supply chains. He has over 120 research publications and conference presentations.
