Thomas R. Mee III is the Chief Executive Officer of Mee Industries Inc., a privately held company headquartered in Irwindale, California. Founded in 1969 by his father, Thomas Mee Jr., a former Cornell University research scientist, the company initially specialized in high-tech electro-optical and meteorological instrumentation. In the early 1980s, the company shifted focus to high-pressure water fogging technology, which remains its core business today.

Under Thomas Mee III’s leadership, Mee Industries has solidified its position as a global leader in fog technology. A respected authority in the field, he has authored peer-reviewed publications and presented at engineering conferences worldwide, including contributions to Turbomachinery International. Mee Industries has installed over 1,000 turbine inlet fogging and wet-compression systems worldwide, boosting gas turbine output by 10–20% and improving efficiency and emissions performance. Beyond industrial applications, Mee Industries has expanded its reach into diverse sectors, providing custom-engineered fog solutions for agriculture, water treatment, and special effects in the entertainment industry.
