Todd Shutts

Director, Business Intelligence and Analytics , 1898 & Co.

As director of the Business Intelligence and Analytics team at 1898 & Co., Todd leads a group of specialists who help clients turn data into actionable insight—developing systems that predict outcomes, uncover root causes, and drive better decisions.

His current focus is on smart grid analytics, guiding clients through the evolving electrification landscape with predictive modeling, system analysis, and clear, data-driven strategies.

Todd earned his Computer Science degree from Kansas State University and completed the Executive Leadership Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Outside of work, he enjoys time at the lake with family, tackling long-postponed home projects, and exploring his growing wine collection.

There's been a lot of good [takeaways] for us because our plans are quite old, so there's a lot of manual readings and things, but me being the IT generation, I think it could be done better.
