Wesley Maurer is Vice President of Regulatory and Market Compliance for the Lower Colorado River Authority where he manages and directs overall compliance activities related to the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) Operating Guides and Protocols, North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) reliability standards, and Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC) regulations. Wesley has helped establish and develop the Lower Colorado River Authority’s compliance program for both its Wholesale Power and Transmission businesses. He has over 25 years of experience in the electric utility industry including enterprise asset management and implementation of LCRA’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools. He is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in applied learning development.

There's been a lot of good [takeaways] for us because our plans are quite old, so there's a lot of manual readings and things, but me being the IT generation, I think it could be done better.
